The brief
Bringing Halloween Harvest to Life.
For its Halloween Harvest celebration, Fallsview Casino Resort transformed the Grand Ballroom into a spectacular rustic autumn setting, complete with elaborate décor and scenic elements inspired by the harvest season.
ESP Entertainment was commissioned to bring this environment to life through an original entertainment production featuring eight theatrical characters, four stilt walkers, custom music production and choreographed performances.
The objective was to create entertainment that became a natural extension of the Halloween Harvest atmosphere, with characters who could perform, entertain and interact directly with guests throughout the evening.

Our approach
The Creative Team
ESP Entertainment's Elwood Saracuse brought together a talented creative team, including Sean Frederick, Choreographer and Director; Tara Weaver, Costume Designer; and Angelica Avendano Makeup Designer and Artist.
Working collaboratively over several weeks, the team developed the characters, costumes and theatrical makeup, transforming original creative concepts into an imaginative collection of Halloween personalities.
Each character was designed to have a distinctive visual identity while contributing to the overall harvest-inspired theme.

One of the most exciting aspects of Halloween Harvest was creating original theatrical characters inspired by autumn folklore, fantasy and the slightly sinister charm of Halloween.
Here are four of the featured creations that highlight the imagination behind the production: the Crow Queen, Sunflower Maiden, Cornstalker and Pumpkin Head.
From the Crow Queen's dramatic black feathers and mysterious appearance to the Sunflower Maiden's vibrant floral details, each character presented a unique creative opportunity. The Cornstalker incorporated rustic textures and elements inspired by cornfields, while Pumpkin Head brought a playful, larger-than-life quality to the collection.
Costume designer Tara Weaver and makeup artist Angelica Avendano collaborated to transform these concepts into visually striking theatrical personalities. Over several weeks, costume construction, sculptural accessories and detailed makeup treatments were developed and refined.
The challenge was to create elaborate characters that were not only visually impressive but also practical for dancing, movement and close interaction with guests.
The finished designs combined theatrical fantasy with the colours, textures and whimsical spirit of Halloween Harvest.
