Sanctioned by Dan Ackroyd and the John Belushi Estate, the legend of the Blues Brothers lives on with The Official Blues Brothers Revue, an uncanny likeness to John Belushi and Canada’s Dan Aykroyd. Our two look/sound-a-likes recreate some of the famous musical moments from the “Blues Brothers” movies. The Official Blues Brothers Revue can perform a 30-minute show to taped music or up to 2 x 45-minute sets with a live 7 piece horn band. Regarded as the ultimate party band, the Blues Brothers have never been more popular. Our guys are regarded as North America’s best Blues Brothers tribute show. They perform regularly with the famous “Legends – A Tribute to Rock & Roll” show from Las Vegas. The public can’t get enough of the high octane soul and rhythm & blues music of the Blues Brothers. The baby boomers were raised on songs like “I’m a Soul Man”, “Flip, Flop, & Fly”, “Gimme Some Lovin’”, and “Shout” and now it seems this music has found a new popularity. Blues Brothers Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty are the subjects of an A&E award-winning docudrama/comedy “Lost in Las Vegas” about two performers impersonating two actors playing two fictitious brothers in a town where almost everything is a replica of something else. Produced by Paul Jay, the documentarian who created the multi-award winning expose of the World Wrestling Federation “Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows”, this new film explores pop culture and the underlying social issues of life in Las Vegas. It’s a fascinating back stage view of the entertainment world.
