ALTER EGO - Best party band in North America

This 10 piece band is Montreal’s hippest party band. It’s a non-stop all dance repertoire featuring the best of 70’s disco, 80’s rock, & 90’s Pop,  and even Lady Gaga. With the 7 dancer/lead singers and 95 dazzling costume changes, this act has a MTV feel to it.  Lots of current dance hits!  Great for a 25 to 55 year old corporate audience.

When Alter Ego takes the stage it is evident that the party has begun. This group sends an electric charge right into the hearts of the spectators. Their show is designed to interact with the audience and keep them on the dance floor. And for those who don’t wish to dance, Alter Ego’s show is very entertaining to watch!

Alter Ego's string of hits from the 70's to today captivates the crowd. Alter Ego is a well-oiled machine whose singers and musicians are confident with the songs they interpret and their dancers are dressed to suit the choreography. The gorgeous costumes, the high energy choreography, the Top 40 hits, the flashing lights.....this band certainly sends an audience into overdrive.

SAIDAH BABA TALIBAH & her SOLRAWKESTRA

Here is one of the most explosive artists to touch your soul! She’s a strong soul singer that is pushing the envelope with her blend of dirty funk, soul, and gritty rock! Born and raised in Toronto, Saidah Baba Talibah has been greatly influenced by Toronto’s musical and ethnic enclaves. Her music creates stories that reflect the multitude of sounds and styles emanating from the city. The daughter of Salome Bey, Saidah credits the internationally renowned jazz/blues singer and actress for her talent and ambition. In addition to her Tony and Grammy nominated mother (who has also won a Dora Award) her uncle, Andy Bey, also a Grammy-nominated musician - she says that growing up in a family where the arts were respected, gave her the confidence to embark on a solo career.

A recent project “The Phone Demos” is a collection of songs inspired from using her cell phone to record demo tracks. After sharing the recordings with others, not only did they love the music, they also remarked that the slightly grainy quality reminded them of the textured sound of early vinyl recordings. The recordings have an eerie similarity with Saidah’s personality. She is an old soul who creates new and vibrant work with new technology. Through her voice and spirit, she acknowledges the musical greats whose spirits helped shape who she is as a dynamic and unique performer.

STAGES OF ROCK

Stages of Rock has been an integral part of the Toronto productions of both We Will Rock You (the smash West End musical based on the music of Queen) and Rock of Ages (the Tony award winning Broadway musical, based on the biggest drive-time radio arena rock hits of the 70\'s and 80\'s).

Originally selected by Queen\'s Brian May and Roger Taylor for WWRY, the band has blown away over a million theatergoers in the greater Toronto area alone, and millions more in national television appearances. A selection of material from both shows will keep your event or party rocking all night long, in high-rolling, booty-shaking style.

The regular lineup of a 5 piece band with 2 vocalists (male & female) from Rock of Ages can be beefed up with the addition of more singers from the casts of Rock of Ages and We Will Rock You. The combination of rock ‘n roll and theatre is nothing short of spectacular. These seasoned
performers know how to work the audience for maximun excitement and fun.

This is a show with strong marquis value and maximum audience interaction. Just ask ReMax and Starwood Hotels, a few of the corporations who have have successful events with Stages of Rock.

From Dance Bands to Jazz, Strolling musicians, Magicians, Comedians, Headliners and Dance Troupes, Mountain bikes to celebrity look-a-likes, ethnic performers and Cirque Acrobats. Whatever you need…We’ve got them all!
